Three Nigerian Football Stars On Richest African Stars' Log

Three of Nigeria’s football stars have made the list of the top ten richest African football players of all time in the 2015 Footendirect rankings.
A study conducted and published by the French publication rated the Chelsea midfielder, Mikel Obi, Kanu Nwankwo and Austin Okocha amongst the ten richest African players of all time.
Amongst the new generation of football players, Mikel’s $50 million cumulative take-home pay makes him the highest paid footballer in Nigeria, while Kanu Nwankwo and Jay Jay Okocha who have since retired, made $100m and $150m respectively from their careers.
